MISSION
The mission of Catalyst For Africa is to win the continent of Africa to Jesus Christ.
VISION
Our vision is discovering, developing, and deploying African leaders to ignite a movement of community transformation by utilizing our four Core Values: Intimacy with God, Integrity, Stewardship, and Family Priority.
PURPOSE
Our purpose is to encourage, train, disciple, and collaborate with African Christian leaders to create individual and community transformation. Catalyst For Africa exists to nurture and foster long-term relationships between leaders in Africa and leaders from around the world. Our desire is to walk and to work alongside one another and mutually share with one another: wisdom, knowledge, resources, and our very lives.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Statement of Faith // We believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—as expressed in the Apostles’ Creed—and abide by their varying functions in the body of Christ. We believe in the Word of God, and we live by the standards and the truths found in the Bible.
Vocation // We believe in the Great Commission. As Jesus commanded in Matthew 28, we are called to create disciples of all nations. African Christian leaders are making an impact on the African continent and the world, and we want to partner with them to facilitate their visions and passions. We disciple and mentor African leaders to transform their lives and their communities.
Relationships // We believe intimate relationships are the core of spiritual transformation. Our training and leadership model is based on discipling small groups and foraging powerful relationships to affect profound change. We believe true transformation takes place in the context of community—first with God and then with one another. We believe that we are interconnected, and we desire to connect the body of believers in such a way that glorifies God and brings together His purposes.
Personal Growth // We believe we have been saved by grace and are in the process of being sanctified. We believe that being life-long learners is a key to understanding personal relationships. We encourage our leaders to grow in knowledge and faith through daily Bible study to nurture intimacy with God.
Ethics // We hold ourselves to the highest standards. We believe in excellence in all that we do. Every gift to Catalyst For Africa is prayerfully applied to the needs of our leaders and to the everyday operations that facilitate our mission.
