MICHAEL MOZLEY
Executive Director
Michael was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. He graduated from Asbury University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. He spent a year as a short-term missionary in Ghana, West Africa from 1984 to 1985. He received his Master of Divinity in Missions and Evangelism from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1989. In 2013 Michael received his Master of Theology in African theology from Akrofi-Christaller Institute of Theology, Mission and Culture from Akropong, Ghana.
Michael is an ordained United Methodist minister in the North Georgia Conference. Michael and his family served as missionaries in Ghana with The Mission Society from 1999 to 2010. Upon returning to the United States in 2010, he served as the Senior Director of International Mobilization for The Mission Society for two years. In the Spring of 2013, God led Michael to establish Catalyst For Africa. Michael has traveled extensively throughout the world doing international mission ministry, but his deepest passion is on the continent of Africa.
EMILY NORVIEL
Administrative Assistant/Designer
Emily grew up in Dayton, Ohio and attended college at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. After earning a degree in video production, she served as a Creative Director at Union Chapel Ministries for five years and was the the director of their student leadership program. That position lead her to Cape Coral, Florida where she helped plant Gulfside Church and served as their Creative Pastor. She currently lives in New York City and loves getting to work behind the scenes for CFA.
